We crafted this flavor in anticipation of a vacation in Indonesia. It was the Chinese New Year and the start of the Year of the Dragon, so we wanted to celebrate the exotic flavors of the Orient.
Ginger is ubiquitous in Asian cuisine and nutmeg is native to Indonesia. Together, they add a warmth to cranberry and lemon that reminds us of the fragrant spices in Bali and Lombok.
